Lecture transcription

Lecture transcription

Make recorded lectures and training sessions searchable with timestamps and editable text.

Put the recording to work

Return to a definition or explanation without replaying the whole lecture. Correct technical terms and use a reviewed summary alongside the course material.

A transcript you can review and use

Speakers and timestamps

Follow who said what and return to the relevant moment in the recording. Check speaker labels when voices overlap or the audio is unclear.

Search and edit

Find a name or topic without replaying the whole file. Correct names and specialist terms while reviewing the original audio.

Summaries and translation

Create a summary, ask questions about the transcript or translate between supported languages. Review generated answers against the source before sharing.

Documents and subtitles

Export text, Word, PDF or SRT subtitles according to your workflow. Review the final wording and timing before distributing the result.

Questions

Can I use an existing recording?

Yes. Upload audio or video you already have, or record in the app. A meeting bot does not need to join your call.

What affects the result?

Background noise, overlapping voices, microphone placement, accents and specialist vocabulary all matter. Test representative audio and review important passages.

Can I work across languages?

KolWrite supports transcription in more than 100 languages and translation between supported languages. The site language controls the page you read; it does not limit your recording to that language.

Try a recording from your own work.

Review the transcript, summary and export together to see how the workflow fits your needs.
